Tullibardine Distillery Tour in Perthshire Scotland

Tullibardine scotch whisky distllery tour perthshire scotland.jpg

Nestled at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, which are renowned for the crystal purity of their spring water, Tullibardine is the most accessible distillery in Scotland situated on the doorstep of Gleneagles and within 45 minutes drive north of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Having been "mothballed" in 1994 the distillery lay dormant until June of 2003, when it was purchased by the present consortium along with the existing stock of Tullibardine whisky. In December 2003, Tullibardine distillery once again fired up the boiler and spirit flowed from the stills for the first time in nearly nine years.

Described as 'eminently quaffable', Tullibardine Highland Malt Scotch Whisky is generally recognised as an easy drinking malt. It is smooth and mellow on the palate with a fruity flavour and a clean crisp finish. Tullibardine's scent provides the recipient with a fresh, floral aroma with hints of vanilla and chocolate orange. Distilled from the purest highland spring water, Tullibardine's qualities make it an ideal malt scotch whisky for all occasions.
