visit to Caol Ila (pronounced 'cull-eela') situated on the north eastern shores of Islay, reveals two of the finest views in the world of whisky. Here you can see distillers at work, tending the six copper stills, a treat in itself. Turn around and you can look out across the Sound of Islay to the spectacular Paps of Jura. As you savour the distinctive flavour of your complimentary dram, you can absorb the breathtaking views across the Sound to Jura. Slainte.

Premium Tour and Tasting
Tour costs £12.50 Tour of the distillery followed by an insightful look at a medley of our award winning whiskies. Every Monday and Friday at 1045 from Monday 5th April - 1st November.

• Booking is advisable but not essential
• Parties of 10 or may enquire for availability out with these times/days
• Children under eight are welcome but are not permitted into production areas

15th February - 2nd April:
Monday-Friday 13.30-16.30 with a tour at 14.00 and 15.15
April - November:
Monday-Friday 09.15-17.00 with tours at 09.30, 10.45, 13.45, 15.15
November - December:
Monday-Friday 13.30-16.30 with a tour at 14.00 and 15.15

Saturdays
April – June:
13.30-16.30 with a tour at 13.45 and 15.15
June – October:
10.00-16.30 with tours at 10.45,13.45 and 15.15
