Award winning whisky distillery, Glengoyne has sponsored this year's West Highland Way Race.
The race, arguably the toughest foot race in the UK, is a 95 mile route from Milngavie to Fort William, taking in Glengoyne distillery along the way.
Winners Jens Lukas from Germany and Donna Utakis (pictured above) fought off stiff competition from 127 other runners to achieve the winning men and women's times ? 17:06:03 and 19:38:49 respectively. New records were also set this year with 97 people completing the race and 50 of them under 24 hours.
As well as the satisfaction of being crowned winners, Jens and Donna were also awarded bottles of 21 YO Glengoyne for all their efforts. All other competitors were given a voucher for a VIP tour of the distillery.
Next year?s West Highland Way Race will take place 20/21 June 2009.
