This summer has seen a significant increase in Whisky tourism for Scottish Routes. Scottish Routes were pleased to be able to show 19 guests from the Nynashamn Whisky Society around for a Whisky tour around the Speyside region and they are already planning a return trip to Islay soon!

Scottish Routes also had the fantastic experience of helping 11 members of the SMWS Australia to enjoy a 10 day trip to Scotland in May and June. Working closely with their cellar master, Andrew Derbidge, Scottish Routes created a fantastic itinerary that took the group to Orkney, Speyside, Islay and the Highlands. The weather behaved itself for most of the trip and a fantastic welcome was received at the distilleries. From warehouse tasting with distillery managers to dinner in the Australia room at Glenfarclas, the whole trip was a great success.
