The Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh has launched - The Taste of Scotland and Morning Masterclass. Details on both new tour experiences can be found below.

Taste of Scotland

Visitors can enjoy the Experiences? Platinum Tour followed by a food tasting experience in their Amber Restaurant. The food tasting includes a 3 course sample sized menu with a selection of bite sized Scottish tapas to enjoy as a starter, a taster of Scottish main dishes followed by sticky toffee pudding matched with a dram of Scotch Whisky. The whole tasting experience provides a true taste of the best of Scottish cuisine.

The experience starts at 5.45pm with the Platinum Tour followed by the tasting experience in Amber Restaurant at approximately 7.15pm.

Morning Masterclass

Visitors will begin their experience in the awe inspiring surroundings of The World?s Largest Collection of Scotch Whisky where they will have the opportunity to view this record breaking Collection over coffee and shortbread, and discover stories behind some of its hidden gems.

A Whisky expert will then escort guests through into a Whisky tasting room where during the next hour they will nose and sample a range of Scotch Whiskies from the lessor known Single Grain Whiskies, to the characterful Single Malts and the world renowned Blended Scotch Whiskies.  A nosing of new make spirit will also allow guests to experience characteristics derived during production versus characteristics acquired during maturation.

Guests will also get the chance to test their noses in a fun sensory perception test which explores the origin of some common aromas found in Scotch Whisky.

The Morning Masterclass runs daily Monday-Friday at 10am ? duration 1½ hours.
